Say YES to the 

PROM DRESS

Alpha Chi Omega's 

benefiting local victims of domestic violence 

WHAT:

A fun, unique fundraising event that gives women the opportunity to sell their gently worn formal attire (dresses, heels, jewelry, and small purses) to other women in the community at an affordable price!

WHO:

We invite anyone looking to buy or sell formal attire to participate! This event is great for finding beautiful prom and formal dresses.

WHERE:

Join our sisters at the Alpha Chi Omega house for a fun day of shopping at 2912 Sorority Village Circle, Knoxville, TN 37916. 

WHEN:

The sale will be held Saturday-Sunday, February 18th and 19th, from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

WHY:

In addition to providing an opportunity for women to purchase affordable formal attire, all proceeds raised from the sale's entry fees are donated directly to the Knoxville YWCA. 

OVERVIEW:

  • To sell an item, please fill out the registration form above (one slip per item).

  • There will be a $5 entry fee for each dress the seller registers.

  • There will be a $3 entry fee for each accessory item registered. This includes pairs of heels, jewelry, and handbags.

  • Those who choose to sell their items will set their own prices and will receive 100% of the profit from their sales.

  • Sellers may also choose to donate their profit in order to further support the victims of domestic violence.

SELLING A DRESS?

Selling Items

Please submit your formal attire items and entry fees (in cash) along with the item registration form, to the Alpha Chi Omega house by February 17th at 9:00pm. Inquiries about drop-off times may be directed to axopromsale@gmail.com.

*Sellers receive 100% of the profit from their sales. Sellers may also choose to donate their profit in order to further support the victims of domestic violence.

 

Unsold Items:

Sellers will be notified via email if they have any unsold items. Sellers may pick up their items from the Alpha Chi Omega house (at designated times) before March 11 at 9:00 pm. If you are a member of a sorority at the University, your dress and/or money will be dropped off at your chapter's house the week following the sale. Any items that are not picked up before this time will be donated to Gatlinburg's special needs prom.

 

Payment for Sold Items:

SYPD Committee Members will work diligently to ensure that payment is prompt. Sellers may pick up their payment (in cash) from the Alpha Chi Omega house (at designated pick-up times). Sellers will be contacted through email once pick-up times are scheduled.

*Recipient of form (SYPD Committee Member) will need to see a valid form of identification  (driver’s permit/license, passport, etc.) at all drop-off and/or pick-up appointments.
